CALIN: The Fabulous Sulina camp is the result of my fascination for the unknown trail to an uncommon place. It started  with a 40-day journey in a kayak, around 1200 km on the Danube and after that it was impossible for me to turn back to the concrete jungle life. I decided to do more of this, so the next step was to be able to live from this passion. I am still surprised to find that people who have never been in a kayak, after a short trip tell me that it was one of the best experiences of their lives and the best day they had spent in the Danube Delta. So the experience named ‘The Delta beyond the Delta’, isn’t about renting pieces of plastic, but about feeling and listening to the untold stories of this amazing place on earth.

JANINE: After cycling all of the Danube in 2016 I came to Sulina (ok, by ferry from Tulcea) and the place spoke to me in a way that I had to come back – again and again and again…
Since March 2018 I’ve been living here now and am happy to say that life on the easternmost outskirts of Europe can still be wild in a way that seems a bit unreal – but is all the more true!
I love to lead people into discovering hidden aspects or wildernesses of their own lives, so as to develop more of their very own skills and self-value through these discoveries. It becomes easier to access these innate depths each time you go there – and then even a passion for life; maybe, hopefully…
