Important notice, please read carefully:
All trips, experiences and packages include physical activities that you do yourselves: kayaking, hiking, biking and/or canoeing for a few hours at a time!
On the wild beaches, there are no picknick tables and chairs, we are camping in the wilderness, making ourselves comfortable.
And of course we do the tours in a way that everybody can participate, you just need to keep up…

EVENTS

2021: The  grand tour of Danube Delta (end of May, 4 persons min.)

Level: people who are used to do this kind of tour. It’s not so much a socializing tour but absolutely doable for experienced bikers! 10 days and 9 nights around the Delta, 400 km (330 km of biking and about 70 of going with the boat). Ancient fortresses, wild beaches where we’re sometimes pushing our bikes or riding on the edge of the water, the Letea forest, the 3 arms of the Danube flowing into the Black Sea, Laguna Razim-Sinoe, Jurilovca, wild camping or accommodation. It is an endurance tour; only after you’ve done it you are able to realize the greatness of the Danube Delta, the place situated at the frontier of land and water, of reality and fantasy.
The route of the tour is Tulcea-Chilia Veche-Sulina-Sf. Gheorghe-Gura Portitei-Vadu-Istria-Jurilovca-Enisala-Tulcea. It is an unassisted tour, where, although we are a team, everyone needs to carry their own equipment and has to be able to take care of themselves. It is possible to deviate from the path and the timetable if the weather or other circumstances force us to.  More details at the category ‘Events’.                              Price: 350-490€/pers. depending on the duration, 7-10 days…

EXPERIENCES

Experience 1.
Wild Sulina pack: 5 days, 4 nights: 3 days in kayak/canoe

Level: active people who have camped before
Target: families or any groups of active people interested in adventures, wild life, photography and kayaking.
Location: Sulina/around Sulina
DAY 1.
Whenever you’re arriving we are going to set up the camp. In the evening, we’re preparing a fish soup together while we get to know each other and we’re deciding on the last details of our trip.
DAY 2, 3, 4.
Kayaking trip. On the sea, lakes and channels. Some of them wild. We are paddling in the pace of the less experienced people. We can take breaks anywhere, anytime. It isn’t an endurance test, it’s a pleasure trip. We will see birds, if you’re passionate about photography, it will suit you. We will camp 2 nights on wild beaches: sunrise, sunset, swimming in the sea. The campsite is very special. In the fourth night we arrive back in Sulina, and we’re putting our tents in the base camp.
DAY 5.
For those who aren’t leaving early for Tulcea, a cultural tour of the city.

Experience 2.
Sulina from another point of view: 4 days and 3 nights in my company, Janine, Swiss guide. I’ll show you the reasons why I fell in love with the Danube Delta. I speak English, French and German.

Level: you like to hike, bike and paddle while enjoying the scenery.
Available activities: canoeing, biking, hiking on the beach, historical trip, culinary trip, Solutions for Living more Fully, natural souvenirs workshop.
Target: families or any groups of active people interested in history, culture, wild life, adventure, photography.
Location: Sulina/around Sulina
DAY 1. Whenever we meet we will have a coffee, tea or beer while getting to know each other and planning the next days. There will be enough time left for a short tour of the city and to get supplies.
DAY 2, 3. We will combine the activities you want in a relaxing way.
DAY 4. We will talk about our experiences during these days, then we’ll pack and say goodbye.

Experience 3.
Multicultural Sulina: 5 days and 4 nights with 3 different guides.

Level: active people, which have already been on outdoors trips.
Target: families or any groups of active people interested in history, culture, wild life, adventure, photography.
Location:  Sulina/around Sulina
DAY 1: You will probably arrive in the afternoon. We find each other, set up camp and go to the city or the beach. In the evening, we cook something together and plan the details for the next three days, which consist of:
DAY 2: With Calin, adventure guide. A kayak-canoe trip. We remember the basic skills, going on a trip around Sulina.
DAY 3: With Ciprian, a local fisherman. We go to check last night’s fishing nets, and when we return we fish with fishing rods. The evening ends with a traditional fish soup, prepared by us.
DAY 4: With Janine, Swiss guide. We choose between a relaxing day making souvenirs while improving movement on the beach or a biking trip to the Letea forest. We finish the day with a meal prepared at home.
DAY 5: We will talk about our experiences during these days, then we’ll pack and say goodbye.

DAY 1. You’ll probably arrive in the afternoon. We will get to know each other while making a fish soup. We can go swimming and we’ll decide the details for the next day.
DAY 2. Kayaking trip in the wilderness – wild beaches.
DAY 3. Cultural tour at the museum of the lighthouse, the “Sulina workman” exhibition, the CED cemetery, the beach.
DAY 4. Letea forest tour. By bike or motorboat. The motorboat means extra cost.
DAY 5. Fishing, we are ending the day with a fish soup made of the fish we caught.
DAY 6. Sunrise at the Musura Bay, kayaking trip. If it’s too early we can start the trip at 7-8 am, but we won’t catch the sunrise.
DAY 7. Depending on the time you leave, trip on the Busurca channel or on the beach, or a bike trip.

Package 3 .
Short trip in Sulina 4 days, 3 nights
Level: active people
Target: families or any groups of active people interested by adventures, wild life, photography
Location: Sulina/around Sulina
DAY 1. You have to arrive early in the afternoon, before 1pm (in summer, 11am later in the season!). We get the supplies and the kayaks and go to the camp place. We have to get there in daylight so we can put our tents up and collect firewood.
DAY 2. We get up early, we take photos of the sunrise and the birds from the Japsa Fermecata Lake.  At 8-9 am we start to return.
DAY 3. Early in the morning we go to the Letea forest. By bikes or motorboat, we can decide then. The motorboat means extra cost. We take photos and we go hiking. In the evening, after we return at the basecamp we will prepare a fish soup.
DAY 4. Sunrise on the Musura Bay, kayaking trip. If it’s too early, we can go on the trip at 7-8 am, depending on the time you want leave.

DAY 1. You’ll probably arrive in the afternoon. We will get to know each other while discuss the details for the trip, having time enough
to go for a walk, on the beach, or into town.
DAY 2. We get the supplies and the kayaks and paddle to the camp place. We have to get there in daylight so we can put our tents up and make the fire.
DAY 3. We get up early, we take photos of the sunrise and the birds from the Japsa Fermecata Lake.  At 7-8 am we start to return arriving early enough to catch the water taxi to Tulcea.

Sleeping on the wild beach, 1 night
Level: active people who want to paddle for a few hours each day!

DAY 1: You’ll arrive before noon if possible, get the supplies and the kayaks and we paddle to the camp. We have to get there in daylight so we can put up our tents and collect driftwood for a bonfire.
DAY 2: We get up early, take photos of the sunrise and the birds on  Japsa Fermecata Lake.
Wind, weather and your physical condition permitting we return a different, longer way.
