F.A.Q.
When does our season start?
We proudly announce that we are available for tours year-round as of now! Winter in Sulina has its very own charm, spring and fall are marvellous and way less crowded (by tourists and mosquitoes, not birds!)…
How old does a kid need to be able to join a kayak tour?
Even though the participants have to be capable of finishing a trip, to encourage the kids, we let them participate in the middle of the triple kayak between the adults – with a paddle of their own, of course!
For longer trips, only children over 15 can participate.
Do you need any experience in order to join a kayak trip?
No, every active person can finish a short trip. We take breaks to rest and to eat.
For longer trips you must be in good shape and willing to do your part of the paddling.
What should you bring for a trip?
For a 3h-to-1 day trip you should have: water, food, sun hat, sun cream (we recommend long sleeves and long pants!), mosquito spray, waterproof sandals/flip-flops, maybe a dry-bag.
Fitness gloves, sunglasses, binoculars and a camera are optional .
On longer trips you must have dry-bags, a headlamp, mini first aid kit, a rain jacket and maybe camping gear (we also rent it).
Where can you camp in Sulina?
For those who participate in our trips, there is the possibility of camping in our basecamp (nice dogs included!).
There is a private campground in a secluded backyard alongside a canal – ask us for details!
